Rachid Essedik is the North Africa Representative for the African Evaluation Association. Rachid is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience across multiple domains, including public management, social development, and environmental sciences. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from ISCAE Rabat, complemented by additional qualifications in social protection and environmental studies from renowned institutions such as the University Paris-Est Créteil.

Throughout his career, Rachid has held pivotal roles in various organizations, showcasing his versatility and expertise. As the Regional Coordinator at the Agency for Social Development, he demonstrated strong leadership and coordination skills in overseeing initiatives within the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. His tenure as Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Health underscored his proficiency in strategic HR management and organizational development.

Rachid’s contributions extend beyond administrative roles, as evidenced by his advisory position to the Minister of Health, where he provided strategic insights and recommendations to enhance healthcare policies and programs. Additionally, his tenure as a Consultant and Advisor for agencies such as the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) reflects his ability to offer specialized expertise in various socio-economic initiatives.

A significant aspect of Rachid’s professional portfolio is his extensive experience in conducting evaluations and consultancy missions for diverse projects. From evaluating women’s empowerment initiatives to assessing migration policies, Rachid has played a pivotal role in assessing the impact and effectiveness of programs funded by prestigious organizations like OXFAM, the European Union, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Rachid’s skill set encompasses project management, training facilitation, and formation engineering, enabling him to design and implement capacity-building initiatives tailored to specific organizational needs. He possesses a deep understanding of public policy governance, impact evaluation methodologies, and organizational change strategies, making him a valuable asset in driving sustainable development agendas.
