Aliou Kayira DIALLO

Aliou Kayira DIALLO is a development professional with many years of cross-sectoral experience in operations management, monitoring and evaluation, climate change adaptation, and water policy across eight African countries. He holds two Master’s degrees in Water Policy from the Pan-African University (African Union) and in Agro-Economics from the University of Lomé as well as a Bachelor’s in Agronomy and Economics.

 

Prior to joining AfrEA, Aliou gained extensive experience with leading international organizations including UNICEF Algeria, UNICEF Cameroon, CLEAR Fa / GEI-World Bank, UNDP, and GIZ, across West, Central, and North Africa.

 

At AfrEA, he serves as Operations Manager, coordinating the association’s operational activities and ensuring that internal systems, programs, and administrative processes function effectively across the association. His responsibilities span procurement, multi-country logistics, consultant recruitment, and donor reporting. His strategic coordination and problem-solving skills support the smooth delivery of AfrEA’s initiatives.

 

He is bilingual in French and English, and is committed to strengthening evaluation systems and institutional capacity across the African continent.
