2024 “AfterWork” of emerging evaluators in Cote d’Ivoire
On 29 November 2024, Initiative Ivoirienne pour l’Evaluation (2IEval), an AfrEA VOPE in Cote d’Ivoire, in collaboration with EvalYouth Côte d’Ivoire, organised a meeting for emerging evaluators on the theme “Employability and training in the public policy evaluation sector: challenges and prospects”.
Organised as part of activities to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of 2IEval, the meeting brought together some thirty participants from youth organizations, public and private sector structures, civil society, international institutions and training centres. Participants discussed the challenges and prospects for skills development in emerging sectors, specifically in the field of development evaluation.
