All submissions are reviewed by a scientific committee, under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief of the African Evaluation Journal. Tracks are organized around the conference sub-themes.

Abstract Submission
How do I submit my abstract?
Abstract are submitted through this conference submission website. Scroll up to see the submission button
What must my submission include?
Each submission should include the title of the paper, the name and institutional affiliation of the author or authors, email address, contact details, an abstract (300 to 500 words), the conference strand your submission falls under, the proposed format, and a set of keywords. Please confirm the exact requirements on the submission portal before submitting.
I submitted my abstract but did not receive a confirmation. How do I know it was received?
After a successful submission, the portal should display a confirmation on screen, and a confirmation message is normally sent to the email address you provided. If you did not receive one, please first check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find it, contact us at conference@afrea.org with your name and the title of your abstract, and we will confirm whether it was received.
I submitted the wrong topic or strand, but the content is correct. Can I correct it?
Yes. Please email us at conference@afrea.org with your name, the title of your abstract, and the correction you would like to make, such as the correct strand or thematic focus. We will guide you on how it will be updated.
Can I edit or resubmit my abstract after submitting it?
If the submission window is still open, please contact us at conference@afrea.org so we can advise on the best way to update your submission.

What are the important dates for the Call for Proposals?
Abstract submission opens on 24 June 2026. The deadline for abstract submission is 30 July 2026. Notification of acceptance is on 10 September 2026. The deadline for full paper submission is 30 September 2026.

Is there a registration fee for the conference?
Yes, the conference has a registration fee.
How do I register for the conference?

Does submitting an abstract mean I am registered for the conference?
No. Submitting an abstract and registering for the conference are two separate steps. If your abstract is accepted, you will still need to register to attend and present.
Travel, Costs and Invitation Letters
Does AfrEA cover travel and accommodation for presenters with accepted abstracts?
No, AfrEA does not pay for travel and accommodation expenses for presenters.
How can I obtain an invitation letter to attend the conference?
An official invitation letter can support visa applications and travel approvals. To request one, please email us at conference@afrea.org with your full name as it appears on your passport, your institution, and your role at the conference, for example, presenter or participant.
Will I need a visa to travel to Morocco?
Visa requirements depend on your country of nationality. Please check the requirements that apply to you with the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate well in advance, and begin any visa process early.
