Sîm-Yassah Awilêlo BADJO

Sîm-Yassah is a passionate development professional with more than fifteen (15) years of experience supporting the design and management of development projects/programs with a focus on improving monitoring and evaluation systems.
Prior to joining AfrEA, he has served in several senior positions including Partnership and Financing Development Officer at UN Togo, Program Director at the African Tobacco Control Alliance (ATCA), Team Leader in Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at Plan International, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor at BORNEfonden and Operations Manager and Consultant at DECISIONS Sarl.

He is also a mentor for EvalYouth Global Mentorship Program and has supported the capacity building of young and/or emerging evaluators and nonprofit organizations in project/program management, monitoring, and evaluation. Sîm-Yassah is certified in PMD Pro and has facilitated several face-to-face and virtual training in the PMD Pro methodology.
He brings to the position more than a decade of years of experience in supporting strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation systems, knowledge management, partnership, and capacity development, in the private and nonprofit sector.

He enjoys hobbies that include running, playing basketball, swimming, and enjoying local food.
