EDDAH KANINI

Eddah is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and gender consultant based in Kenya. She has a background in health. Eddah holds several leadership positions as the group leader of the Gender and Equity Focused Evaluation (GEFE) technical group of the International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS), co-chair Diversity and Inclusivity group of the Society of Gender Professionals, and a board of advisors for the Monitoring and Evaluation Professionals Association of Kenya.

Eddah has vast working experience as a technical advisor for USAID-funded organizations facilitating training, mentorship, and coaching for health systems strengthening. As a consultant, she has spearheaded Evaluations for local organizations, international non-governmental organizations, civil societies, and human rights organizations. Eddah has contributed to strengthening the demand and use of evidence for policymaking through collaborating with Parliamentary Caucus on Evidence-Informed Oversight and Decision Making (PC-EIDM) in a project funded by EvalPartners and IOCE.

She is an adjunct lecturer at Kenya’s Public University and has been a mentor of the young and emerging Evaluators for DME for PEACE as well as EvalPartners.

Eddah has excellent oral and written communication skills. She has documented and published findings in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented and trained in National, Regional, and International conferences.
