The African Evaluation Association is pleased to announce that the 9th AfrEA International Conference 2019 will be taking place on 11 – 15 March 2019 in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
This conference is the premier event in the African Evaluation sector and acts as the foundation for promoting and advocating AfrEA’s “Made in Africa” approach, and allows knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking with a wide range of international organisations and individuals.

The theme for this conference is Accelerating Africa’s Development: Strengthening National Evaluation Ecosystems

“African Evaluation Journal – Special Conference Edition 2019

The focus of the Special Edition
This edition will attempt to capture the high quality and broad range of themes addressed during the conference, meaning that only papers presented at the conference will be eligible. Authors must submit full papers (online copies maximum 7000 words) to conference organisers by 20 March 2019.

Pre-selection process
Conference Strand leaders will assist with identifying good quality full papers for consideration. Selected authors will be provided with initial feedback on how to improve the papers and will be invited to submit their paper for the peer-review process for publication.
